Today we are happy to announce full support for USDC on Base, USDT on Polygon, improved usability and a whole host of smaller updates. All together it makes sure that Paymobil continues to be the best self-custodial stablecoin wallet.

USDC on Base

Paymobil now fully supports USDC on Base with free transactions, just as we do on Polygon. Send, receive and request USDC on Base with email, phone numbers, links, crypto addresses or ENS.

USDT on Polygon

Paymobil now also fully supports USDT on Polygon. Send, receive and request USDT with email, phone numbers, links, crypto addresses or ENS.

Usability improvements

To make navigation more intuitive Paymobil now features separate tabs for your balance, sending money and your account details. We have also improved the send flow for links, the settings and account screens and added a transaction detail view for your transaction history.

Paymobil 3.0

Today we are proud to announce Paymobil 3.0, introducing an updated design, support for native USDC on Polygon and the ability to withdraw money instantly to bank accounts in the United States and Europe as well as gift cards anywhere in the world.

Updated design

To improve legibility and clarity, Paymobil has a lovely new typeface from the Swiss foundry Grilli Type. While retaining the distinct friendliness of Paymobil, numbers and digits in particular are now more legible.

Native USDC on Polygon

Circle Inc., the issuer of USDC has deployed a native version of USDC on Polygon. This replaces the version bridged from Ethereum, now called USDC.e. Paymobil now defaults to use the native USDC, but will still recognize and receive USDC.e. To facilitate an easy migration, Paymobil users can swap USDC.e to the new native USDC in the app with one tap.

Withdraw money instantly to bank accounts in the United States and Europe

You can now withdraw money to bank accounts in the United States thanks to our integration with Beam, and European bank accounts with SEPA with Transak. This adds to the expanding list of withdrawal options from before. We hope to expand the coverage to other countries shortly.

Withdraw to gift cards anywhere in the world

You can now withdraw money to a gift card with Bitrefill anywhere in the world. The available gift cards depend on your region but include well known retailers such as Amazon, Uber, H&M as well as prepaid debit cards and mobile phone top ups.

Today we are proud to announce Paymobil 2.0, introducing purchases of USDC with a new fiat-to-crypto onramp built by Stripe. A host of other upgrades like free USDC transactions on Polygon, withdraw to cash in Argentina, biometric protection and much more is also included.

With our new architecture built on gasless transactions you pay NO fees, and money arrives in seconds.

More options for adding and withdrawing money

You can now buy USDC with Stripe’s fiat-to-crypto onramp Link, available to US customers. This makes buying fast and more reliable, with the security and payments expertise we have come to expect from Stripe.



Use debit or credit cards, bank accounts, crypto or cash to fund your Paymobil account all over the world. Available methods are country dependent, and provided by Link by Stripe, Coinbase Pay, Ramp and local partners.

Also new is the ability to add and withdraw CASH in Argentina with pesos or US dollars.

Self custodial simplicity

Paymobil remains the best wallet experience available. Set up in seconds, sign in with Apple or Google and be done. No crypto jargon or scary monsters. Once signed in, receive or send money to friends and family anywhere in the world using their phone number, email or crypto address. You can even send to those who don’t yet have a wallet.
